Assistant Storekeeper
Reporting to the Purchasing & Logistics Manager and the Technical Superintendent, the successful candidate will primarily:
- Assist with receiving, inspecting, storing and issuing spare parts, consumables and tools;
- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with periodic stock checks;
- Support local deliveries, shipments and related documentation;
- Assist with small local purchases and purchase orders;
- Liaise with suppliers as required; and
- Follow the Company’s quality and safety procedures.
Candidates should ideally:
- Have experience in storekeeping, logistics or a related field;
- Preferably have experience within the maritime or industrial sector;
- Have basic knowledge of inventory systems and Microsoft Office;
- Possess good organisational and communication skills;
- Be reliable, accurate and able to work effectively within a team; and
- Hold a valid driving licence.
