Tug ST. ELMO (Bollard Pull 75 tonnes) has once again been engaged on another job in Palermo Roads. The tug was employed to provide towage assistance to the semi-submersible rig ‘OCEAN ENDEAVOUR’ from the Fincantieri jetty within the port of Palermo. Eventually the rig was loaded onto a heavy lift vessel.
ST. ELMO left the Maltese islands on Friday evening to arrive on the location on Sunday 16th March.
ST.ELMO successfully completed the operation and was back to its base in Malta early on Tuesday 18th March 2014.
