In April 2025, our tugs St Elmo and Vittoriosa were successfully deployed in support of an offshore rig move operation in Libyan waters. The project involved the relocation of the Vali jack-up rig, owned by Borr Drilling.
The rig tow was led by the anchor-handling tug MSC Dragon, with St Elmo and Vittoriosa playing key support roles throughout the move. Their agility and control contributed to the safe and efficient repositioning of the Vali rig in a challenging offshore environment.
