On the 26th December 2012, the largest container ship in the world the CMA CGM Marco Polo entered Malta Freeport.
The 396 metre long ship was assisted to berth at Malta Freeport’s North Terminal 2 Quay by Tug Malta’s tugboats St Elmo, Spinola, Pawlina and Wenzina.
After finalising its loading /unloading operations, the vessel left Malta Freeport early morning on the 27th December assisted by 3 tugboats.
