One of the events organised during the European Maritime Day included an oil pollution control demonstration. This was held on Sunday 19th May 2013 in the Grand Harbour involving Tug Malta’s tug SPINOLA and other units.
Parliamentary Secretary for Competitiveness and Economic Growth Edward Zammit Lewis and Chairman and CEO of Transport Malta James Piscopo visited Tug Malta’s exhibition stand at Boiler Wharf, Senglea.
The aim of the European Maritime Day is to highlight the crucial role of oceans ad seas among European citizens.
