To better serve the smaller vessels segment, Tug Malta has recently introduced to its fleet the newest tug – Gozzo. The technical specifications of Gozzo, built in Turkey by MedMarine Shipyard, also renders the vessel fit for purpose as a 10 tonne bollard pull mooring/line handler boat. The twin screw Rina Classed vessel has a length over all of 14 meters, a breath of 5.36 meters and depth at 2.87m. Gozzo is powered by twin Volvo diesel engines and due to its technical specifications and high performance the vessel is ideal to assist small commercial vessels, superyachts and other yacht categories within the Maltese territorial waters.
As a new fleet addition, Gozzo has further widened the profile of Tug Malta’s vessels broadening the service scope to the towage users giving full coverage to all types of tows within and between our harbours in Malta and Gozo and particularly to the local shipyards, yacht marinas and other important facilities.
